The Comfort Ear attenuates (reduces) sound pressure levels by 10-45dB across the entire frequency spectrum at the ear. For example, levels are reduced by 29dB at 125Hz, 45dB at 4kHz and 44dB at 8kHz.

Reduction of environmental sound is why these plugs were developed. The plugs are nearly indestructible and should last for about five years before they need to be replaced in adults. The plugs are guaranteed for a one year period against workmanship, materials and fit.
